ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, with my parents and three siblings. In high school, I played varsity soccer, tennis, and lacrosse. I joined student government and became student body vice president, and I joined multiple honor societies upon graduation. I graduated from C.E. Jordan High School in June of 2022, and made my way to Winston-Salem!

I came to Wake Forest and immediately started on the pre-medical track, without hesitation. I knew I wanted to become a doctor, because of my biggest inspiration, my mom. My admiration for my mom extends beyond her academic/career achievements. Witnessing her dedication to helping women in need in a world where we are overlooked has instilled in me a deep desire to follow in her footsteps. As hard as STEM classes and the pre-medical track are, it's my mom's unwavering commitment to knowledge and compassion that guides my ambition. With this, I have developed a passion for supporting other pre-medical students on their journeys to medical school, and have worked to find ways to prevent academic stress.

My years at Wake Forest have been the best of my life. I'm currently a student advisor, a member of the women's club soccer team, a CLASS student ambassador, and a member of Chi Omega Sorority. I can't wait to see what else I partake in the next few years! Go Deacs!
